Daniel engaged in a 20-year career as a contemporary dancer with Michael Clark Company, Merce Cunningham Dance Company and others, having trained at White Lodge and Rambert School, before becoming a professional massage therapist.

As a clinical sport and remedial massage therapist, he has engaged in residencies at Sadler’s Wells and Tate Modern, treating dancers pre- and post-performance. He seeks to collaborate with his clients to improve quality of movement throughout range and physical efficiency, to identify patterns of tension, to directly address the soft-tissue aspects of post-acute and chronic injuries, as well as addressing secondary symptoms of many clinical conditions. He holds a BTEC Level 5 Professional Diploma in Clinical Sport & Remedial Massage Therapy and is a member of the Institute of Sport & Remedial Massage.

As a pregnancy and post-natal massage therapist, Daniel seeks to promote general wellbeing for both mother and baby. During this extraordinary time in life, mothers-to-be may experience anxiety, aches and pains due to postural changes, sleep-pattern changes, swelling of hands and feet, difficulties adapting gait, and digestive issues. Massage Therapy can aid with relief from all of these, as well as improving mood and blood-circulation, thus processing toxins more efficiently and increasing the flow of oxygen which leads to increased health of mother and baby. Post-natal massage aids recovery from the process of labour and birth or caesarian, promotes healing of scar tissue, assists with the return to normal posture and ease of gait, encourages physical and emotional wellbeing through relaxation and by addressing specific areas of tension and discomfort.
